I am the proud daughter of one of the foot soldiers of the Civil Rights movement. Like Dr. King, my father was one of many young ministers who helped with voter registration drives and protest marches in the US South during the 1960's.

To commemorate the lives of Dr. King and those like him who made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom, I am giving away a poster at my store, Yummi Pop Modern Furnishings. You will see it draped on the front of the building. Simply help yourself and take a copy, it's fully modifiable.

I hope you will all join me tomorrow in celebrating the lives of those Freedom Fighters who helped insure the liberties we have today and, as they would want, let us all celebrate the diversity we are fortunate enough to share.

(Full credit for this idea goes to Lanie Recreant who's original idea I've adapted a bit.)
