I wanted to say hello, and welcome you all to a brand new set of Sims, Rivendell, and Rivendell West. We are proud to say we are currently renting shops, and land parcels for those interested. The Rivendell Galleria encircles what we call the Promenade, a very upscale venue for select merchants. The number of merchants is limited, hand-picked, and actively managed to maximize customer-to-merchant exposure, regular marketing, and promotion. The venue is beautiful, bathed in continual sunset lighting to provide both atmosphere and the best possible lighting and shadow for content. The theme is an amazing blend of Elven and Victorian architectural styling which defines elegance and style.
Rivendell itself is owned by Caliber, and hosts Caliber's flagship store to anchor traffic to the sim on the north side. On the south side is SL's newest and classiest jazz club, Rick's, inspired by the Ratpack and Bogie's immortal "Rick's Cafe Americain", with a regular music stream of vintage jazz, blues, and big-band music. Live DJs will help drive business by promoting the merchants while talking to the club guests, and monthly events will continually draw both crowds and provide on-going customer awareness of the venue.
