I created this post to let you know that beginning today, until around New Years Day, most stock will be marked down between 30-50% (excluding the most recent releases), after which most of Sylvan will be closed temporarily for some sim changes, a revamp of the sim and reworking of Organica as a whole.
After New Years, selected trees will remain on permanent discount, and their transferable editions will be discontinued forever.
( Please note: The sale will take place at our main location in Sylvan *only* )
This decision is being made much for the same reasons trees sometimes need a pruning - to make room for new growth.
I've also been planning some other big changes for Sylvan that will make the content there richer for visitors. Ultimately the goal is to make the sim more enjoyable to explore and relax in.
As a result, this is pretty much the last time for you to view Sylvan as it is before access to the sim is closed for a little while. Come enjoy the winter scene - the waterway has frozen over and perfect for it. Couples skating is also available, as are horse-drawn sleigh rides. 7Seas fishing is still available throughout the coastline, and for the Flickr-ites among us, feel free to post your photos in the Sylvan flickr group, located at Flickr: Sylvan .
There was also a snowman and a free box of scarves left out by the bonfire/party area last week during our winter party - Feel free to grab a set at your leisure
This year has been incredible creative, learning, and relaxing experience for me, and I really couldn't have gotten to it without your continued interest and support.
