As I was sitting here answering customer's emails about our shoes I sat here cross legged and dangled my real life shoe from my foot, and I thought how wonderful it would be to have real life shoes like the ones in the game, then I laughed... boy that would hurt.

I got an email this week from a customer who purchased a pair of our shoes and needed to return them to get a different pair because she had one of those body shapes that can't be modified ( I hate those btw, that's why I give my shapes away free and modifiable ) but anyways, back to the subject, she also went on to say how she loved some shoes of ours called Convicts, and that she wanted us to know she bought every single pair.

Well.. this quirked my brow, as we have never made any shoes called Convicts, Joe looked into it and found the shoes called Convicts were made by OhGee! Shoes....

This was the 2nd time someone has come to us and thought we made the shoes, when they were in fact made by OhGee!

Well there is some confusion, and I want to clear it up. We are not OhGee! Shoes. OhGee! Shoes came about during the year when Joe and I took a break from Second Life. They told me that the reason they made their shoe store was in memory of us. If you go there you will notice that the majority of shoes that they are selling are replicas of ours. And, to top it off and to make it even more confusing, they have used our shoe base in every pair of shoes they've done that are like ours. So, when you buy those shoes and click on the SL shoe that comes with the boots, it says they were made by Joe Stravinsky! That is my husband and designer of Hearts Desire shoes.

So, this is where the confusion comes from.... a lot of people are confused and think that OhGee! Shoes are made by Hearts Desire, but I am here to tell you now they are not. If they look like ours, and they have a shoe inside that says made by us, they are really not ours. If you lay the prim part of the shoe out on the ground you will see who they are really made by... it's not our shoes.

I'm not upset at them, they did not use copy bot, they merely imitated us, for that is a huge compliment, and I do not feel threatened or worried at all. They were made by some people I adored anyways... some people who I always liked, whether they liked me back or not I will never know... but I hope they really did create replicas of our shoes because they did in fact like us and miss us, and not because they wanted only to capitalize on the fact that we were on hiatus. Whatever the reason may be... let it be known that we are not OhGee! Shoes, and we never have been, we are Hearts Desire, and we always have been and always will be. All our shoes are sold from the shoppe "Hearts Desire" on the sim Urbane, and all of our shoes carry a signature "HEART" either under the sole of the shoe or at the back of the shoe. All shoes created before 2007 have gold hearts, and all shoes after 2007 have silver hearts, and one pair of our shoes, our very first pair called "Steel Hearts" have no heart at all and have been retired, consider those collectibles. :D And you're lucky if you have a pair of those!

Thanks for your time...

Heart <3
