You may be aware of the fashion-related group we all know and love in which many of SL's top clothing, skin and jewelry designers get what is essentially free advertising to potential customers. Merchants are allowed, via group notecards, to announce new products or special sales. This group currently has almost 8,000 members and I know there are many fashionistas like me who simply MUST get their fix after logging onto SL.
This concept works because it not only brings customers and business owners together, but MOST importantly it frees up precious group spaces in all of our groups list. Instead of being a member of 25 of your favorite stores, a customer can be a member of the fashion group and have access to HUNDREDS. The benefit to the store owner is obvious.
My hope is to do the same for the home furnishings, prefab and giftware merchant AND for those who love to shop for those items. I hope you will join me in this endeavor by joining Heart and Home (which can be found in the groups list) and promoting it at your stores. We already have a growing list of merchants and shoppers who are all very excited about this new venture.
If you DO wish to participate, simply search for and join the "Heart and Home" group. Then, contact me after joining and I will add you to the merchant role allowing you to send out notices and will send you kiosks to display at your store!
