How do I stop the sending of e-mails from Second Life to my e-mail account? I've recieved 10+ e-mails in the last 5 minutes trying to figure out how to turn it off.

Hey Myles,
When you log into Second Life, goto Preferences (Ctrl P) and then go to the "IM" Tab.
At the top of the options you'll see a checkbox for: Send IM to Email (youremail@yourhost.com)
If you don't want IM's to go to email, uncheck the box.
If you aren't talking about IM's to Email, I'm not sure what's going on here, and this advice may not apply. Good luck.

You could quit the club of whatever group it was that sent all that crap to your email. I've done it before. It will still be in your IM's when you log into SL so you can see exactly what group the IM's were from. |

I opened a free email account for my SL mail to go to and don't have to worry about it clogging up my personal accounts. It works great, the only email there is from SL.
