Is there a way that I would be able to upload actual clips from movies or movies onto my second life account and actually have them play on a tv on my land??

you actually need to have them hosted on another server, have them in quicktime format, then you can stream them on land you own, rent, or friends land

Yes, if you own the land. Additionally, the video will be visable to those who are actually on your land. I don't think moving the camera from outside your plot would work. Outsiders will see nothing.

yes, you have to be on the land showing the movie, the land pass system would almost work, except you can fly up high enough to go over the land and then use your camera to watch the movie. A security system would be required.

Well technically its related, if you're charging for watching movies which you don't have the copyright to, its illegal..

I'm not sure what the viewing point is on this in SL tho, I don't watch a lot of movies, people might be fine with it..
