it's funny, and we all know ppl who act this way. they don't want to be excluded based on their personal interests, but do the same to others. who knows, perhaps someone will see themselves and learn something. granted, i'm more likely to grow wings in RL perhaps, but.... |

I am afraid I didn't see that cartoon the same way you did. I see it as a criticism of anyone who would be so bigoted and prejudiced. In other words, I saw the artist as making a point by illustrating the absurdity. Pretty pro-furry or any other "different" subgroup in my view. _____________________

Oh lighten up....that's the EXACT attitude that reinforces the rep furs the get of being humorless and self-absorbed. If anything it was a poke at gamers and at folks who CLAIM to be openminded, but only so as long as it involves THEIR lifestyle (kinda like how many furs react badly to a human entering their areas, eh?). As a fur, I find the comic hilarious...and quite truthful in many ways. I mean for christ sakes, even many trekkies with their plastic elf ears and toy phasers look down on furs. |
