If I buy anything and it's no mod, or I buy something and it has a texture I don't have and I want to screw with it, I steal the texture.
I don't resell, I just ensure that I can make whatever changes I want to anything I own and not worry about losing the original texture if I fuck up.

We once took a digital photo of a monkey pattern that we used to redo our dining room chairs, and used it as the background on our website (not the one in my sig). Does this count as being a textile thief? Or does it not matter, since it's a money losing venture?

I have bought multiple $10,000L's worth of textures, have ripped multiple 10,000's of textures. I even browsed through the textures of different HalfLife modules, only to see that a bunch textures that I had purchased obviously had been stolen straight from HalfLife (and Doom and other games). I have also seen on sites of other SecondLife residents where they say they are uploading textures from the web, yet they then complain about people ripping their stolen textures.
