BOULDER, Colo. - Prosecutors abruptly dropped their case Monday against John Mark Karr in the slaying of JonBenet Ramsey, saying DNA tests failed to put him at the crime scene despite his insistence he sexually assaulted and strangled the 6-year-old beauty queen. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060828/ap_on_re_us/jonbenet_ramseyhttp://www.dailykos.com/story/2006/8/28/183410/772hmm... which makes more sense... they fed him seafood and champagne on the trip back to the states because... 1) mr. "i accidentally killed jon benet", "i loved jon benet", "i drugged, had sex with jon benet", "i lovingly drugged, had sex with, then accidentally killed jon benet" ... lol... -might- fess up with a confession... (eh? what? i can't hear you!) or, 2) ... "here's the deal... we have this nasty unconsititutional ruling against the president over wiretaps; now you will be convicted of your crimes - we've already caught you - but we'll pay you/your living relatives/whoever $xxxxxxxx if you take the rap for jonbenet, go through a week's worth of headlines and pointless questioning, then be released to your other charges. or, you can take a bullet in the head... your choice."

Why is this a surprize? It seemed obivious to me that this was a sick loser who wanted attention. 10 years ago, they found no signs of forced entry to the home, no strange tracks in the snow and a suspicious ransom note as well as the pad it was written on. On top of that, the parents tried to run the investigation their half-assed way instead of letting the police do their job. This case just screams "Inside Job". If anything, they played out this little charade because they were waiting for John Ramsey to slip up and give them something more on who in the house really did it.

Man, I'm about to post something really harsh, but it's honestly how I feel about it:
It has always been difficult for me to keep interest in the stories about anything about the Ramsey's. I thought it was a shame from the beginning raising a girl to be nothing more than a trophy, then she gets killed, who-dun-it, blah blah blah. I think that entire family and anyone involved with that entire family has something entirely wrong with them.
I've never really given a rat's ass about these news stories about this. I think it's a shame that we live in a society that finds it acceptable to raise kids as trophies in the first place.

From: Lorelei Patel I swear I try, but I can never make sense of what you're trying to say What, you don't get it?? This John Mark Karr story was just a sham, probably staged by the government, to bury the other more pertinent domestic wiretappaing ruling! But on a serious note, the dailyKOS could find conspiracy in a bowl full of poached eggs. Why does there always have to be a conspiracy or ulterior motive behind everything. What if the domestic wiretap ruling just doesn't rank on the average americans short list of what is interesting? Whereas, some guy claiming to have had sex with a 6 year old before killing her, accidentally, does rank high on that short list of what is interesting. Nah, that's too easy. COVER-UP!!! Couldn't parse Nyoko's take on it, other than ... no, never mind. Don't understand it, other than charges were dropped. The rest just don't compute.

From: Allana Dion You're getting your conspiracy theories from a blogger who can't spell "comprised". We really need a better class of conspracy theorists around here. Its not as much fun when you don't provide the really good sites. So instead of the blog, try this one. Bible prophecies are known to be 100% accurate ... There is strong evidence that the conspirators have well planned this system of a satanic one-world government. http://www.trueconspiracies.com/I think there's even a long list of links there too, which always helps bolster your case. nort:

Why yell conspiracy when insanity and incompetence suffice?

I had kind of a "Silence of the Lambs" take on that Karr guy, and a distinct impression that he wanted to BE a little girl.
