There's plenty of bread and everything. Feel free to make one for yourself, too.

Zarah, I think they need to set aside all those crazy plans for Mono and money exchange and more community roundtable discussions, and focus on immediate need. I'm hungry, the sandwich you described sounds yummy, and the Lindens need to increase the number of sandwich ingredients we can list along with a post.

I blame my parents, but it'll take about ten years of therapy to figure out why.

Wow, I was thinking the same thing. Wonder Home Pride wheat is so soft you can make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with it. I just got some Apple Jelly and I am going to have a really good PB & J sandwich this afternoon with an ice cold glass of milk, mmmm.

Oh and silly me thought this was a jab at me for making too many polls. LOL, just kidding Kim, you know I love you. You're one of the special people and I don't want you to go hungry. Big Fluffy Hugs!

and busts in all Julia Child-like with gleaming utensils, a cutting board, and a large hamper of fixin's, to build something more than merely palatable for Kim ...

How about:

thinly sliced cucumbers and tomatoes,
layered with a cream-cheese-and-kalamata-olive paste,
topped with sunflower sprouts, drizzled with a sharp vinaigrette,
between two hot-from-the-oven slices of rosemary-dusted foccacia?

or even

the thick, grilled cap of a plate-sized portabello mushroom
smothered in smoked gouda, studded with capers,
crammed into a kaiser roll just slighty smaller than the mushroom cap,
and presented with both a side of jasmine rice
and a goblet of sparkling apple cider?

There! That should take care of your hunger!

Wait, what?

OMG she's hawt, AND she can cook...or at least terrorize the kitchen help.

I really don't care for Portabello sammiches...tried to like 'em, but the texture just bothers me.

But I'll take two of Option A :D

Austin, Texas...dunno about sparkling cider, Mem, but you have access to Martinelli's, right? Far and away the best apple juice on Earth...and I, too, could afford a quart if only grocers offered 90-day layaways...
