I was listening to NPR on my way into work this morning, and the had a local piece on kids drowning in pools. I was happy that it wasn't PRO kids drowning in pools, but i was a little bit disturbed at this quote by the narrator:
"Most people aren't aware that disaster can strike swiftly and silently"
I thought about it, and I realized I am totally aware that disaster can strike swiftly and silently. Then I thought "you know, i think she made this 'fact' up. I bet most people ARE aware that disaster can strike swiftly and silently." Thus the poll. Thanks for your help!
