Let's Party!

I have been sitting here thinking about just how much I am going to miss these forums and then it struck me: PARTY! I say we have one gigantic, “the forums are dead” party and show the Lindens just how wrong they are.

I have posted to many forums but have never found a place with such a diverse and interesting group of people. There are so many different points of view and lifestyles here, yet we are all bound by one uniting thing: we all love second life.

Sure we bicker and fight, but we also have some really amazing conversations about a variety of topics. Isn't that the very thing that families do?

Isn't that the very spirit of Second Life?

So let's show the Lindens how wrong they are to kill the forums, to kill the very soul of Second Life. I say we get everyone together and have one big blow out. Ulrika, Kevin, Lewis, Kendra, Billybob, Sio, Joy, Kiamat, Champie, all the furries, all the goreans, all the goths, all the athiests, all the christians, FREAKING EVERYONE!

Let's show the Lindens that we still remember what the spirit of Second Life is, even if they don't!

I have 13,000 odd meters that I will volunteer as a meeting place. Or if someone has an entire sim they want to volunteer that would be even better. It would be ideal if we could all meet in one spot, but I realize that with the sim population limits we prob will need several different tp linked meeting spots so the more places we get the better.

Who's with me? Do you guys want to party or what??

when are you proposing this be done? have a date?

how about the day the forums close? or the day after.. not sure which would be better, but y'know.. one of them.

Date and time will be hard to do, since we live all over the world. I say everyone makes a suggestion then we all can choose the one that works best. It's everyone's party after all, so everyone should have a say.

Dennis, one of your sims would be great, that way we can squeeze in the maximum amount of avs.

And NO event postings on this! The only place this should be advertised is here in the forums. This is for us, the forum folk. No prizes, no silly contests.

Just all of us having a good time together.
