That's right! In the latest episode of the Munsters, Herman Munster was banned from his country club for letting the manager know that a crocodile snuck into their swimming pool. They stated that he should have allowed them to deal with the problem first, so they wouldn't have to empty the pool. Herman in his comical stammering voice, said "Gosh, I was j-j-just trying to help."
It was a great episode. Perhaps you saw it. Recently.

From: Ulrika Zugzwang It was a great episode. Perhaps you saw it. Recently. Wasn't that the one where the country-club owner hired a group of teenagers to patrol the grounds to make things safer but they ended up upsetting customers instead? That was so funny!

Oh yes, I saw that. I was hilarious. When they opened the doors and all those children took over the place. And while the manager was feeling Herman's collar, the confidence tricksters were crawling all over the place and those thieves drew up in the furniture van and were stealing all the pictures off the walls.
It was very funny, but I think it was a bit over the top and got unbelievable in the end.

Didn't Grandpa M do something unspeakable in a coat room in that episode?

Yeah but before granpa got off eddie munster was banned from the country club not for actually violating the rules but for annoying the members so much. In order to keep the members quiet, they banned eddie.

~Ulrika~ Nah, he got banned because the club had racist membership policies. Someone noticed that Herman was in fact, assembled from several lesser humans. They further assumed that when the time came to select Herman's genitalia, his creator may have used parts from a black man. It was also assumed that he might be the product of Nazi concentration camp experiments, which means that there could be some jewish content in him too. All of this was cut from the final version of the episode. In an outtake scene, special guest star Roy Cohn brings up his suspicions about Herman with the club management, and decides to get Herman loaded on punch. Herman downs 12 bowls of punch, and his high performance bladder signals its time to take a leak. Cohn accompanies him to the restroom so he can take a peek at Herman's deal. Herman steps into a stall (because he has a "shy" bladder), and proceeds to drain the lizard for 25 minutes, flushing whenever the bowl got near full. When he finished, Herman did a "little" shake, and knocked down the stall. Only Roy sees Herman unfettered, and assumes that Herman does have a "Negro Member". CBS insisted that the episode be edited and after pressure from the show's sponsors, the episode was totaly reworked.

~Ulrika~ I saw that episode! In the end scene, a girl came along and tried to save Herman. Herman was flattered by the girl's actions, but it turned out that the girl was very wicked and just wanted to become manager of the country club herself. But thankfully, a charming gentleman with a large bulge in his pants, and who just happened to be passing by, saw what was happening and managed expose her evil plan. It was great! and they all lived happily ever after.
