Spell-checking With OperaOpera supports the spelling checker GNU Aspell. To be able to check spelling when using Opera, you need to install this software as well as dictionaries in your preferred languages. Note that Opera for Macintosh uses the system spelling checker; no additional installations are required. Here's the link for the spell info on the Opera website.

Opera is free and reads out loud.

They don't charge anymore, it's all free.
I am used to Firefox but it doesn't hurt to try the alternatives.
I will be testing out the Opera text to speech and voice control in a while.

I like what Opera has to offer—it is quite fast. Unfortunately, it won't display some of the more unorthodox, non-W3C-compliant things I enjoy, so I'm staying with Firefox but leaving Opera as an alternative on the side. Jeffrey, when I read things like that, I have to wonder what universe it would be spelled correctly in. Ulrika, so what does that make Konqueror?

What you should do, Torley, is use Opera primarily and then only switch (when you have a poorly coded, non-standards-compliant webpage) when needed! What pages are you talking about by the way, if you don't mind my asking? I'm curious to see the problems that's all. I used to like Konquerer when on Linux, but I dunno, with Opera's ads gone that's probably going to change...
