Prolly should be a multiple choice poll, too many of these apply. :D

I went with child labor. Let's make them useful. ;)

You Asked.....

Dearly Darlings,

RL I teach disabled children pet skills...but was never able to have any children of my own so my perspective is very different from most people here.

The few...and I do mean few...child avatars I've met here have been in my mind have been incredibly rude, clingy and have poor language skills for their ageplay persona.

I've had "VEWWWY WITTLE ONES" come up and cling to my leg. I don't find that acceptable in any universe. In the animal world it's a dominance display and never tolerated by an Alpha. And as for the silly baby talk...that's got to go. I was at a golfing party in Rumsen, NJ and had a two year old child tell me what the word oviparous meant and could name animals she could think of that were. There is never an excuse to interrupt a conversation with the exception of "I need to go potty mommy" from any child. And even then the parent should leave with the child not catterwalling and be able to come back after a potty break and be able to carry on an adult conversation while the child quietly plays with his or her toys.

Well mannered children are always welcome in my home. Those that are not are asked to leave.

What a childish poll.

Better question: What do you think about adults who insist on acting like what adults think children act like (but mostly don't). ;)

Dearly Darlings,

I have no idea what happened there. I was proofing and "poof" gone. Must just be old age and clinking the wrong thing.

Ever Yours,

Mrs. Showdog Tiger

As a mother in my First Life, I think my own children are wonderful, but I'd like them to stay in my First Life. I don't want to feel like I have to censor myself in Second Life because other people's kids are running amok, unverified.
