My heart goes out to everyone there and on the gulf coast. Sadly, this was one sneeky bitch of a storm that a lot of people who were hurricane experienced thought they could ride out - so they stayed. That song makes me sad because I cannot help but think of all the history and culture that is being washed away as the flood waters climb.  . _____________________

But, there is part of the city that isn't flooded, and I think the news said it was the "historic" area or something? Maybe the area they picked was mostly fine, but the city grew into stupid regions? So... it sounds like it might be our own fault really if that's correct.... but we can blame them anyway.
