hello i was wondering how do you guys make your money in the game besides buying the money, and if you build stuff to sell what do you sell.

Yep. Just about everything you see inside SL could be a product. ... except the basic terrain and water.

I made little houses with the editing tool, and photoshop. I've been selling them.
Later, I got some land and people came to stay on it, paying part of the land tier.
Conceptually, really simple.

I started by making rude t-shirts from Tshirthell.com, and through that learned more about GIMP (free product!) and layers and all the tools involved. Now I have a pretty healthy business making clothing, and much better skills than I started with, which still improve daily. Although I admit that I love being able to cash out and having spending money because of my SL business, I love more that I have an outlet for my desire to play around in GIMP.
