Being Reported In Combat Sandbox

I have, about 4 times now, been reported by numerous people in the combat sandbox for shooting them. One said,

"You're breaking the rules by shooting/griefing people. Please stop shooting me. You have been reported to the Lindens."

Why would you do that? You're in the COMBAT SANDBOX! You're supposed to kill people there! I really dont see what people's problems are.

Go cry to a Linden that doesn't care please.

Well, it depends, was this the Red/Blue/Combat sandbox series of sims, or was it the Weapons Testing sandbox?

Yes shooting random people even in a combat sandbox is not a freindly thing to do. It might have been better if you asked folks around you to be your ttest target instead of random 'cannon-fodder'.

Was this in Rausch? If so, ignore it. In fact, laugh at them and shoot them even more. And more. Tell your friends to shoot them, too (in Rausch, not outside of it). "Combat sandbox" means "enter at your own risk," period. I used to visit Rausch all of the time, and dying was just a way of life there. So to speak.

I can just see the Lindens laughing at these ARs. Geesh ... no wonder the real ARs seem to get ignored, with ridiculous ones like that being filed.

LOL, this is what I do too. I also taunt them about being big fat pussies who are getting their ass kicked by a girl. Drives em nuts. This one night a guy sent me a screaming IM full of profanity saying he was going to AR me if I shot him again. I flew over to where he was, stopped two meters in front of him and said "wuss" then flew off. That made him a tad tense to say the least. :D

Like the OP said, if you don't want to be shot, don't go to the combat sims! Duh. People like that just annoy the crap out of me. "Yes I'm in the combat sim but I am just here to talk to my friend and don't want to get shot at." So stay home and use IM's dimwit.

It's like going to Luskwood and telling everyone there not to wear furrie av's cause you don't like them. Get a freaking grip.

I've been going to Rausch on and off for almost a year now and it's always been considered a free fire zone. No one asks if they can shoot you. If you are there, you're a target plain and simple. When I go there I expect to be shot, the only question is how long will it take. In fact, I hardly ever tp out of Rausch on my own. Most of the time I just decide I am done for the night after being sent home by a bullet for the 8th or 9th time.

their ARs are automatically filtered

Actually I put on my Gorean Master AV and use this big ass sword I made.

I mean, if you're going to stir the pot might as well use a big spoon!
