Ive been wanting to move to the states, but the more i read, the more i find out its gonna be near impossible.
Does anyone have any experience or any knowledge on how i might go about doing this? I would appreciate it very much, thank you ._____________________

First thing you should do is check to see if you qualify under NAFTA as a "Highly Skilled" worker. If you do, and you can find a job in your field, you can get a TN-class ("TN" stands for "Trade NAFTA" or somesuch) visa just by showing up at the border with your offer letter -- no green card needed. I think the TN's are good for an unlimited period of time provided you stay with the employer you moved south to work for.

lol, if only it was that easy.
From what i've heard, each Canada and the US have made it hard to get in so that we dont try to steel eachothers jobs. Wouldn't it just be simpler to have a type of "exchange", where when 1 person from the US wants to go to Canada, and 1 person from Canada wants to go to the US, and its just a simple trade. _____________________

where do you live? we could trade places.
 joking aside, i'm not sure how one would go about it. you would definitely need a green card, or some type of visa to live and work here. i would be a bit easier to come from canada, since you don't pose a "threat". you could check out the state department site. i think that has info on getting visas, etc. _____________________

Then get married. You'll get the nationality automatically. I'm sure that would happen eventually, but i just dont want it to be just for that reason. And on top of that, you need to be married and living together for atleast 2 years, and then they do an interview. _____________________
