If everyone puts everybody on ignore except me, does that mean I win the game?

Well?

Or does it merely mean I'm "socially inept"?

No you don't win. The one with the most people on ignore wins. Remember, quantity counts. :D

It means you made the top of every Junior High, I mean SL list thread. So yes, you win.

No, it just means you missed the point. As utterly usual. You're not socially inept, you're just overly idealistic. It's ok. It passes with time. Usually.

I never put anyone on ignore. So alas, I would keep you from winning. :p

OK, which subtracts more hit points from my stamina - social ineptitude or uber-idealism? Or is it a spiritual debuff?

You'll never know if you're on my ignore list. I'm not one of those who writes I Hate Seth all over my PeeChees and flashes it to the rest of the class. I just will no longer respond to your posts anymore.

Ignore, to me, is about not having to read someone's gibberish anymore. To others it seems to be about letting people know who you have on ignore.

Actually, Jonquille, all kidding aside, I'm glad I'm not on your ignore list.

I think people get ignored due to our inability to simultaniously chat with all our friends at once, you'd have to be Data from star trek to reply and chat to everyone ya know after a while in SL!!

Don't you just hate people who post that they won't post about who they ignore?

Just kidding, Jonquille. I'm with you on this one.

Even if everyone else ignores you, Jeska won't. She is the winner.

since there's always newbies, you always have a fresh market to tackle. now, if you could get 'em to each pay you an el-buck to ignore you... :)

I would never put anyone on ignore. I don't get the point of it. There is nothing anybody can say that I would have to protect myself from it. And there is nothing anybody can say that DOESN'T inform or educate me further, in some fashion.

In TSO wecould boot, ban, and ignore anybody we wanted in game. (Here, too, I guess.) I would get some mighty bad griefers in the Game Show Channel, just due to it being a busy and high-profile place. I'd put up with them a while, as long as they weren't too bad, usually just making dry comments that would shut them up, or get them to cooperate and actually maybe even have fun.

Once in a while, though, I'd boot and ban them. One or two I even had to KEEP on ban (Though everyone got a second and third chance.) I never put anybody on ignore, though. Why do that? I figure if they wanted that bad to talk to me (usually it was something along the lines of, "I didn't do that! It was my brother!" lol) then the least I could do was let it sit there and read it when I got the chance.

Never ignored anybody on the boards, either. So far, I've never had anyone that was such a problem that I had to ignore them, in any game or on any forum.

It means you are not famous and no one likes you.
