Fraid of Hurricane Rita

I live in Atlanta, nowhere near there, but I sure as heck am awful nervous sitting here watching the news as it draws closer to Texas. I hope nothing horrible happens, though surely nothing could be quite like N.O. Then, too, there's talk about gas prices going way up; that's worrisome. Seeing all those people sitting in their cars on the freeways out of Houston (where I used to live) on their way to Austin (where I also used to live) is very nervous-making.

It took my grandma 8 hours to get to Dallas from Houston yesterday(!). I hear it takes as long as 14 now.
