Are any of you familiar with this or currently play? I'm curious about your thoughts on this compared to SL.

I played it back when i was 16 when i didnt have the funds to put money into it and i found myself begging other players or grinding "Sweat" off creatures to manage to afford a clip of ammo that wouldnt take down one low level creature

i've played it... used to play it alot, but its a very expensive game.
oh and its mainly a firt person shooter, yeah you can mone and craft, but thats nothing different than a different type of first person shooter. there is nothing more to it than that. don't be fooled. _____________________

So, in your opinion is this a shoot em' up type game mostly or is there alot more to it? I played it, but to be honest I didn't get that far. It's a MMORPG and a far bit different to SL. I played it a few years ago, and though I tried it again a couple of months ago, I didn't get on with it. That's just my personal opinion though, comparing it to SL would be pointless. And yeah, it is expensive |

I tried it a little bit back and wasn't sure it was what I wanted. Definitely mostly a FPS. I have been meaning to go back, but haven't bothered as of yet.

Possibly this would be more of a game for my husband as he plays Warcraft online?

That would be a better comparison, but as far as I've seen it doesn't seem to have the addictive factor that World of Warcraft has... Or did you mean Warcraft 1/2/3?

He still just plays on Battle Net w/Frozen Throne. I thought about buying WoW, but my husband hates spending money monthly on it. _____________________
