You know, it's pretty amazing but... it's been over a year since I met Torley Torgeson. Dayum, time flies when you're having fun. One of the first things Torley told me was to check out his website or something - I just know I quickly ended up at www.torley.com All I know is that I downloaded some of his music and was instantly hooked! One year later I am still listening to this stuff. In fact, one of my main concerns when my HD broke down recently was "OMG I am going to have to download all 250 of Torley's mp3s again! That's like 1.5 gigs! " Who here likes Torley's stuff? Are there any other talented musicians amongst us? I know for instance Lordfly makes some pretty decent stuff - http://www.lordfly.com/music.htmlThere's also Kenzington and Huns but I don't know where to download their stuff. Do you listen to indie music? What are some of your favorite indie artists? Recommend me some mp3s? It's interesting to note that I don't actually buy music I listen to Torley almost exclusively, but also a bit of LordFly, a few ancient mod files and remix.overclocked.org I believe this says something about the crap state of mainstream music these days...

Thanxies Eggy—my father is a good guy, even if we don't keep in touch as often as I'd like. That's one of my favorites too, Chance... it was so named in part because I wanted it to be an "alternative prom song".

It has a kinetic quality to it that I also see in Hybrid. Pretty much anything that reminds me of Hybrid is a winner. I also like one of your songs that feels glacial, but I forgot the name.

From: Eggy Lippmann Hybrid? http://www.hybrid-group.comIf you can't find "Wider Angle" (better than Wide Angle) or "Morning Sci Fi" in stores, you can still download their amazing live sets here: http://www.hybridized.org

And if you like really crazy psy/world/trance music, check out the relentlessly polymorphic album, "Nothing Lasts... But Nothing is Lost," by Shpongle. It's a real treat for audiophiles.
