let me admit something straight-away.. i wasn't much aware of this visionary until a few moments ago when i heard about his passing on the news.

but in the few minutes since then, i've come to wish i had.. i wish i had known of him years ago. i wish i had met him. and i wish he knew what we were doing with Second Life.

this is a man, who when he was 92, went for a (well-assisted) skateboard ride in "LOVE park" to protest laws against the same! not to mention, he was the one who designed the park in the first place.

i plan on reading up on him and all of his accomplishments and i invite you to do the same.

Rest in peace, oh kind soul..
brave of vision and spirit.
