Sounds fun to have all that time to watch SL evolve but... the living 1000 years part made me trip. I'm tired already and pretty sure in 20-30 more I'll be ready to punch out.

Nah, to me SL is but a shadow of a dream. It's a dream of what RL ought to be - power to create at will, to fly, to assume any form we desire. I'd stick around if we could cross that line into RL, but until then I'd prefer not to forget that really, this is all happening inside of a rack of boxes and wires in a little concrete room somewhere.

I'd much rather work towards making my real life have all the cool features of SL. SL is kind of a placebo for that until we get there.
