Ok heres a scenerio..

Rivn buys a voting Booth Puts it in the Knights Supply Shop... all votes go to Rivn... Problem is the land in which Rivn put that voting booth is Soulace's Land.. (now not a prob when the shop belongs to both of us so I am not arguing our personal story here) BUT.. what is to keep someone from getting one of these voting booths and putting them on someone elses hard earned work and getting the credit of the votes? My problem with this is.. Joe down the rd can place a booth on Karens property and get the credit of all votes to that place.. (names made up hehe) ... so really Voting booths need fixed :)

oh oh OH! I see your point, and/but I thought they already worked the way you *want* them to work, which is why I didn't get one.

I think there should be two versions:

* version 1 as is, so whomever owns the booth gets the votes

* version 2 set so that owner of the land gets the votes

Then again, is version 2 *really* needed? Since a land owner can delete anything which is on his/her own land...

I'm gonna hafta grab one of those puppies and finish up my paintings.

maybe the voting booth can display the owner's name over it? and maybe that owner's name can be in green if it's on the owner's land, and a different color if it's on someone elses's land - a message to use caution before voting.

True you can delete an item off your land but what if someone was to say be away on vacation.. for a week.. then they have no knowledge of this at all while someone else is gaining money off thier land.. just think it could create a big problem in the future

interesting point - should that happen, delete the booth thats on your land.
set permissions so people can not build.
(if this presents a problem with your collaborative effort, you can always grant modify permissions to an individual.)

If I'm babbling I'm sorry I'm out of it tonight. Feel free to message me in world to try to make some sense.
