Can't right click items for info

Hello,

I somehow messed something up. I used to be able to right click and object in world and find out the creator, but now I can't. I also cannot edit linked objects anymore because of this, which results in me having to totally unlink an object before i can edit it, which isn't good. Can someone please help me? Thanks.

UPDATE: I fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling SL

I know how to solve the righ-click issue as I just had the same problem myself. I use it a lot to check prim levels before I buy anything

I'm not inworld so I can't see the menu's but if you go to your top line of menus, drop them down and there is an option in one that says "Edit other peoples objects", this should be ticked. IM me if you can't sort it out and I can talk you through it easier. I'll be inworld in about 3 hours or so

Indeed it sounds like Tools > Select Only My Objects is checked. If you're using a newer viewer you'll need to open the Edit window or press Ctrl+3 to open it in order to get at the Tools menu
