Music Streaming with DSS? |

Hey I was just wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to set up music streaming with Darwin Streaming Server? I have a DSS server up and running, and really would prefer using that as opposed to setting up a whole new server and what not.. Anyway, thanks for any help.

SL uses the FMOD sound subsystem.
I believe this supports MP3 and Shoutcast/Icecast and HTTP streaming. It appears that DSS is an open source version of QTSS, and supports the RTP and RTSP protocols. So it's looking like they aren't compatible at the moment. Perhaps there's a plugin for DSS? |
