since downloading the new version ive had problems with my camera view lagging
it has this slow rubberband effect any idea if i can fix that?

In Preferences, on the Input and Camera tab, there are some new(ish) sliders, look for "Camera smoothing" and "Camera Transition Time." When they first added them, my camera would take forever to stop moving and I had to reduce the "camera smoothing" to 0.25 or so. I figure it must lenghthen the response time based on framerate or something because once I got my new system I nudged it back up to 1.0 and now it seems nice. But maybe that's what you're looking for, a lower "camera smoothing" setting.
