The newer mainland sims are all Class V, but some of the older ones closer to the epicentre of SL's original sims (centred around the first sim of Da Boom) are still Class IV I think.
If you're on the newer continents, chances are you're in a Class V sim. There was a website you could check this out; I'll do some hunting for it, and if I find it, I'll post the link here, or maybe someone else will in the meantime. |

Jack Linden has indeed said that all mainland was class 5 now. I've not seen an official announcement but he definitely said that at one of his office hours.
I also heard that Max Case's website can no longer accurately judge if a sim is class 4 or 5 because of the way they started filling in the gaps for expired sim numbers. I think it was even before that. It used to be that you could figure out the class by looking at the sims hostname. This stopped working at least 2 1/2 years ago but you should still be able to tell that two sims are the same class if they're on the same host and you know the class of one of them.. _____________________
