OK, this is getting rather frustrating. I'm supposed to be reviewing this for a gaming community I'm involved in and as it stands right now, I'm about to tell them to run away screaming.
I cannot play this game. Everytime I load it up, it'll get to the login screen showing a pagoda or a beach or something with login prompt, then it freezes and crashes. One time I managed to get through, logged in, and halfway through the load up it asked me to accept terms and conditions and, guess what, it crashes again. Sometimes it waits for me to push a key, sometimes it doesn't. Either way this is getting intolerable.
Here's the stats:
SL version 1.22.11
Intel Core 2 Quad 2.6
1 Tb storage
3 Gigs of RAM
RADEON 1950 pro crossfire edition
Vista Home premium
I have uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted, checked my firewall, anti-virus, nothing seems to help.
Any ideas? Hopefully it's something simple I missed out of frustration, but it's begining to look like the new pinata for my community.

Thank You It's likely a result of your current video card drivers. SL tends to act up with ATI particularly. Best advice. Drop your drivers to 8.12 or lower. |
