When I logged on first time green bar went to 50% and said registering agent. It stopped there. I waited more than 10mins and nothing else happened.

It worked the 2nd time I tried. I used task manager to shut program down then restarted and it did not stop at same place. All is working.

same thing happened to me. but with second life you always gotta try to login at least two more times before you suspect anything

note: you don't have to use Task Manager to kill it, hitting ctrl-q will force SL to quit, even when stuck at registering agent.
