Crash on almost every TP

This problem is starting to drive me nuts.. Really..
Everytime I TP, I crash, except for some lucky days that I can TP how much I want, if I dont log out - cuz then its screwed up again - this have just happend a few times though, I almost always crash when I TP.
Another problem is that I dont load the whole worlds all the time, so a store can end in the middle and after that its just water - very very annoying.
I've checked router, and updated stuff at my computer, checked the settings in SL and on and on, but it doesnt help even a little bit.
Someone knows what might be wrong? Cuz I will soon throw the computer out of the window.
EDIT: I just tried to TP from my brothers computer, and it's the same problem there, so it might be the router thats messing with me. And thats not my strong side. What to do?

A friend of mine is having what sounds like exactly the same problem - crash with virtually every single tp made. I've had her upgrade her video driver, but that didn't help. If anyone could post any other ideas for what the issue might be it would be much appreciated!

It may help if you say which Viewer you are using, and give the specifics of your computer: OS, how much RAM, what Video Card you are using and what sort of internet connection you have.

giving it a wild shot, do you happen to have the mini-map on (display)? try closing (disabling) it. best if you can tell us if its happening on a specific sim or just about anywhere when it (crash while tp) happens?
