Bug Report: Problems at the 4 corners

Now that Misnomer and I have recently completed the 4 corners Arena, which sits at the junction of four sims (Varney, Stillman, Minna, Natoma), we've noticed some peculiar problems in and around this area.

No. 1: when you teleport in, the land and faraway objects appear as normal, but the portions of the arena in other sims do not...you literally have to walk into that area to make it appear.

No. 2: Ghosting and dissappearing objects. Like the "invisible av" problem, I've noticed objects dissappearing from view, (including voting booths!). You have to log out and back in to correct this problem.

No. 3: Communication across sim lines. Sometimes, if two avs are standing across from each other in opposing sims, you cannot see their chat. I've seen this accur in other places, but it seems more acute in this area...perhaps due to all the adjoining objects "confusing" the different sims?

No.4: Lag. We're seeing lag, when there really shouldn't be any, particularily in Minna and Natoma; even when there's nothing really going on in those sims.

Lindens - any way you guys could have a look-see in this area and see what's up? Any assistance you could give us would be greatly appreciated :-)

This part about structures not rendering is consistent with the stage at the ampitheatre if you port or login there.

I don't currently have a fix, just additional information...

I think those issues are more world related than just in specific locations. For instance my walls and object distort and often vanish altogether when I port to my Shop in Natoma, however the realign themselves and often reappear if I teleport soemwhere nearby and walk back, allowing the graphics to manifest.

The largest issue is the lag, which Ben noted earlier was being delt with by the developers. While lag incidents are greatly reduced in the outlands, I find that in Natoma, there is a dramatic increase in frame rate and rendering. It is often impossible to move in Natoma with experiencing 'slow motion' type animation, or simply coming to a complete stand still. I am considering re-locating my shop to a more docile sim.

The only other time I experience the lag issue is when many are gathered together. I know at the Letter Game, many of us froze altogether or crashed because of the sluggishness. It simply cannot seem to handle many Avatars (10 or more) in one space at a time.

That's why it's beta :D

I always hear "if we hang out at the corner of a sim, we'll have less lag" but my belief is that it only creates worse lag. You're streaming from 4 separate servers at once and I think that makes things worse...

I dunno just somthing that's been bugging me..
