Hmmm a lil help?

Right

So I updated, we all did, but know SL seems to have greyed out my option for ripple water and bumpmapped, I have an ATI Mobility FireGL V3200 card, which worked just great with all the options before the update, I have checked for updated drivers and i'm all done and set up ready to go.

Also I used to use an option that was ctrl atl 5 to turn off shadows, that doesn't appear to work either, anyone got a clue?

The FireGL series cards are listed as "untested" from SL. Hopefully someone else who has the same/similar card will post if they found a fix or if it is even affecting them. Maybe the next SL update will happen after this one and fix it, best suggestion I can say is file a bug report until somone else posts back.

You may need to use different drivers for that card, such as the Radeon drivers. The FireGL isn't technically on our compatibility list.

Thats odd, seeing how Radeons are detuned FireGL cards with different registry settings in the same drivers. Same deal with Geforce and Quatro cards.

I have same problem, but I have a Nvidia GEForce Go 7800 GTX, and I do have bump mapped, but not ripple water. Anyone?

Hmmm ok, but what about ctrl alt 5... whats the new shortcut for that lol

I don't know how to do it, but I think it's possible to modify some of the ini settings to allow those options to be selected.

Yeah it's been a while options like that don't work for me anymore.
Like killing fog, or lightening up my avatar, etc...

Fog used to be ctrl + alt + shift + _
Avatar lighten up was ctrl + alt + 5

???

Is there a known/fixed list for those, Lindens, please? Thanks!

I can live without ripple water but NOT THAT, but then I don't get why all of a sudden it's gone off ,before the update everything was hunky bloody dory! I don't bitch about updates but I am NOT a happy Willow

I've got the same card in my laptop and ripple water is greyed out for me as well. Everything else is available (and enabled) and my FPS is even better than it was before (and on this laptop it's always been pretty peachy). It's a shame ripple water isn't available, I'd quite got used to it being there - it feels a little flat without it now

I updated my video card drivers just this minute and it worked for me .

Well, noone ever let me try and update drivers again! I completely screwed that up lol. BUT! It's fixed now and alllllllll the good things are back, except

CTRL ALT 5.

Now, I gather its something to do with the new lighting, but please please PLEASE can someone tell me if its coming back or if there is a new shortcut to it, I miss it!
