ok so a while back i bought a sony vaio notebook with an intel graphics card and was not able to run sl..as far as i know sl didnt run on intel graphics at all or they werent compatible..i then brought the vaio back and got a dell that worked just fine..

i would love to buy the newer version of that vaio laptop, which now has an intel965 express graphics card, and on the sl site it now says it supports intel945 so i assumed 965 would be ok, but i am a little weary b/c the last one i bought did not work but im sure it wasnt a 945 or more.

like i said though, i now have a dell that runs great, but looking to get a new laptop again..i read up on the intel965 and sl users and it seemed some people were having issues, is there anyone that has an intel965 graphics card and hasnt had any problems or didnt have to change any settings?

if you are familiar with any of this, please let me know :) id really appreciate it :) ty

Intel graphics are teh suxx.

They're meant as a low-cost graphics solution, so the 3d support is gimpy.

Get at least an nVidia 8400 if you can.
