If anyone could help me, when I close second life i get a newview.exe application error. Does anyone knows what this means? and if so do you think it can make second life really really choppy during gameplay?

I get that a lot when closing. Basically, SL is crashing when closing -- not that big of a deal, since you're already closing SL!
As for choppyness, I doubt their related. Here's somet steps to reduce choppyness (commonly known as Lag):
1. press Control + P (or Edit -> Preferences)
2. Go into the Options tab
3. Lower draw distance to 64
4. Tweak some other options at will, mainly LOWERING them.
5. Press OK.
