There is something I found casually when I was waiting to having SL loaded before the login window. So I clicked Alt+Tab, to check if SL was already in the list of loading and I saw a program (with the classic icon of the anonym programs, like the SL loader), but it was called "Dummy". I've been a little, curious about the name, and I kept the alt+tab thingy to see if it was going to change name. when I checked in the task manager to see if a program called "Dummy" was on, I didn't found it and SL loaded. I did a virus and anti-malware scan, but I found nothing, so the question is: Does the sl loader has a part of it's "life" called Dummy for the detection of the hardware?

Alt+Tab does not show program names. It only shows the names of currently active windows.
A single program can have multiple windows, and change the names of those windows at will. Some programs never display a window at all.
All this aside. I can say the window you saw does belong to the Second Life process.
