Severe crash problems

After I installed the new version 1.22 I started having all kinds of crashes. I can login go in world but as soon as I try to TP anyplace it crashes. I did some digging and checking and found out it is the graphics card. I'm running a ATI Radeon 3500. Now it won't work with the new version, this I figured out, but it was working fine with the 1.21. The only way I can fix it is of course to up grade the card, well my laptop is a month old and would have to change the mother board to do this, naw I don't think so. Is there a way for me to get back the older 1.21 version? I did uninstall 1.21 before loading 1.22 so I can't just switch it.

You can have both 1 21 and 1 22,i have both and use each from time to time,go to the website and download the 1 21,you don't have to un install anything
I had a similar problem to yours when the 1 20 became the official viewer,i crashed constantly,but not with the 1 19
It was frustrating and i did nt know what to do,it was suggested i upgrade the video card driver,i have an HP laptop so i did an HP update for drivers,it said there were non,i went to the nvidia website and put my laptop product etc numbers and there was an update,after i did that i had no more crashing problem
Btw the 1 22 is a test viewer and the 1 21 is the official viewer
