I have a motorcycle and some aircraft. When I board/ride them I go shooting off into outer space and the vehicles end up going off-world. What the heck is going on?

Does this happen when you're crossing a sim boundary?
(That's not uncommon.)
How fast is your internet connection?
Do you have many connection problems when running SL?
