I am not at my home PC, in fact I am halfway across the country, in LA. Does this make a difference, like it not recognizing the ip associated with my name and password? I gets to the 'connecting to server' and the tosses me back to the splash screen. I downloaded the update on this PC. Just wondered if anyone had any advice.

I'm having the same error though this is because I just installed a new motherboard thus changing my IP address, please any help on correcting this would be grand ^_^;

I log in from two different computers all the time (at different times of course). My machine at work and my machine at home are both setup with SL and they both work fine. They definately are on different networks and IP blocks, so that can't be the problem you are having.

Ehehe I was finally able to connect to the log in server though after hours x_x, it seems the year on my new motherboard was still set in 2002 insted of 2003 O_o so it wouldn't allow me to connect properly, I saw the same problem on most of the Devistation servers as well ^_^; hope that helps.
