I went to the downloads just awhile ago and downloaded a fresh copy of 1.4 and did my install. I still have the same problem I had in the past when I tried to run the preview. I get as far as entering my name and password and click 'continue' it starts to load but when it gets to 'Verifying Version Protocol' is stops. After about 30 seconds I get the message 'Unable to Connect. System may be down' when I got to status its not down soooo Im going thru withdrawls, severe withdrawls!!!! any suggestions would be helpful. I did report this to secondlife support but all I have heard back so far is that they are aware of the propblem but have no timeframe as to when it can be resolved
