Okay, so, here is the issue

I was on Windows XP, and could play second life, I took a small hiatus to Linux, and now I'm on vista.

I go to open Second Life, and I get a "Your Video card driver isn't valid" etc etc.

So, I think "hmm, maybe just the drivers didn't get installed right" So I reinstalled my ATI [x600] driver, and then it dosen't work, that's understandable, I mean, It's not valid according to the list MINIMUMS. But, I also have Intel 945 Chipset, and that is accepted, Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

What did you reinstall the driver from? The CD that came with your computer, Microsoft Update or downloaded from ATI? The driver from the ATI web site should be the best of those.

Your card meets the minimum requirements, although it's lower than recommended.

Same thing, different Graphics card

I had been running SL just fine for weeks with my Nvidia 9600 until one day it just decided I did not have the updated graphics driver and would not boot. I checked and yes I did have the right driver but it still would insist I did not.

To get arround it I had to DL the Second Life Release Candidate to get into SL, not sure if that helps you or not
