Does anyone has experience with the Asus EN8600 gt/sil/htdp/512M PCI-e graphic card?
I have currently a Radeon 1300XP 256Mb. Does the card mentioned above work well with SL? Can it be a good upgrade? I can get this card for a very friendly price.

That's exactly the video card I have installed.
I only just downloaded SL today, and I can't say it's going well. The second I open it, it freezes. I don't know if that's down to the graphics card though, I'm still trying to work that out!
