I am having trouble running the Second Life client. I am able to get through the status bar and into the world, but after about 3 seconds the screen goes black. It doesnt crash, but the screen goes completely black. I can still see the mouse pointer, and if i left click anywhere on the screen i get a quick flash for about 1 second but then the screen goes black again  I have a radeon 9700 with catalyst 3.4 drivers Pentium 4 1gb RAM latest motherboard AGP drivers Any ideas? All my other games work fine :-/ |

I had the exact same problem. I ended up just reverting to 3.2 drivers but I hope there may be another way.
Heres to hoping 3.5 is entirely compatable.
