I have a problem. I do not have any of the documents, being Passport/Drivers' Liscence, and I'm told that an age verification is being started at the end of the month. What should I do? And I refuse to get one of the said documents just to satfisy the requirements.

If you want to get into Adult rated areas, you can do that by being age-verified, OR by having valid payment info. Buy a few L$ on Lindex and you'll be fine.

Do yoy have a payment method on file with LL? Credit card or PayPal? If so, you are considered account verified which is just about the same. If not, you can call LL, they will tell you what other information they will accept, usually a birth certificate or some other ID, which can be faxed to them. If you can't do any of these, then you are out of luck.
Note that verification is only necessary to access adult content on the new Adult Continent that is being set up. If you aren't into that, you don't have to verify at all. _____________________

Yes but I don't have the money to do so, nor would I waste real £ online. I'd confirm my credit card but not waste money. Yes I have paypal and a credit card, but I ain't gonna waste money. |

Theoretically you don't have to actually use your payment info, but it seems to be a bit unreliable unless you do.
As for whether it's worth it... when I joined you couldn't get into SL at all without signing up for a paid account, but I guess you gotta make your own decisions. _____________________

File a ticket asking why you're not allowed in. They'll hassle you about sending them ID, but a lot of people doing this have said that their PIOF verification magically came through a few days after that anyway.
Or quit being so cheap and buy a couple of bucks worth of L$. I mean, sheesh, do you get more than a Happy Meal's worth of enjoyment out of SL? If not, why do you bother? _____________________
