I have Cool Viewer and i was using it to get to the beta grid and that was well and good. but then i logged out of it. and using my regular SL release candidate viewer, i tried to log in. But i kept going into the Beta grid over and over. so then i finally think , hey, lets go back to the cool viewer, and change that drop down menu back to Secondlife instead of SecondLife beta. and i go back into the RC shortcut and wind back in the Beta grid. So i'm like shoots! i log back into Coolviewer to get into regular Secondlife. log out again. get my RC shortcut and FINALLY i'm back into the real Second Life... whew! has anyone else had that happen?  |

Which RC are you using? 1.21 is out of RC now and 1.21.6 is the new main viewer.
When you're at the login screen, press Ctrl-Shift-G and make sure you have Agni selected from the grid picker dropdown box.

I had this issue when I installed the new default client.
my workaround was to edit the shortcut to:
"C:\Program Files\SecondLife\SecondLife.exe" --channel "Second Life Release" --grid "Agni"
a work around, but effective

Things like this happen when you switch between versions. Delete your user_settings folder to get rid of old settings after you uninstalled your viewer. Then reinstall the latest version.
