Any changes made to your computer, such as graphics drivers or anything else graphics related?

I'm having the same problem, increased lag but also with issues on firefox. Some reason it can some times take ages too load a page or not loading at all. *sighs*

I'm using a really good pc too so i don't know what it's playing at.

When was the last time you defragged your disk?

Does your internet provider have a monthly bandwidth cap?

Also check to make sure there isn't something running in the background eating up resources.

Usual possibilities:

Check background processes to see if anything is hogging cpu or memory.
Change your graphics settings a bit lower to see if that helps the lag.
Run a program like cclean or tune-up utilities. I personally use both and have for many years, and so have my customers.

Unsuaul but somewhat common possibilities:

Make sure your computers inside are clear of dust and debris, especially fans to ensure the computer is running the best it's able to.
