Try as I may, llGetOwner has stopped working for one of my scripts. (52 scripts in an outfit I created)
Upong giving a copy of the outfit to a member it would only activate the 3 suit modes if I were nearby givng the command, the suit would not listen to the new owner.
Any ideas? I had heard this was a supposed 1.5 bug.

Try putting an llResetScript in the on_rez event. That fixes my problem with recognizing a new owner.

Yeah, llGetOwner() has some weird behaviours when you're giving a script using it to someone else. I think once it grabs the owner data, subsequent calls to it don't update this information. So if you give someone an object that's already grabbed YOUR key as the owner, it'll never grab theirs unless a) they reset the script, or b) recompile the script (same diff . You'd think it would be a little less 'smart' and just do as it's told, grabbing the owner each time it's called.
